What to look for after hystorectomy?

Better Question: It might be helpful for you to better articulate what you mean when you ask what to look for after a hysterectomy. If you are considering having one, then the surgeon who will perform the surgery should advise you. If you have had one and you are having problems or concerns that did not occur prior to the surgery then try to specify what they are and still ask your doctor. Vague questions are hard.

Problems: You should see your doctor if you experience increasing pain, excessive bleeding (like a period or heavier), elevated temperature, persistent nausea and/or vomiting, or a foul smelling vaginal or incisional discharge.
