It depends: Upon the amount of diarrhea, how often, if there is blood in it, how long it has been going on. Talk to your doctor about this. Also mention if your baby is vomiting, unable to keep down any feeds, has not had a wet diaper in 4 hours or seems listless, irritable and or has a fever. Also tell your doctor what baby has had to eat and drink, how your prepared his/her liquids/feeds.
