Depends : Shoulder dystocia as you know can be managed although it is a complicated labor. I would talk this over with your obstetrician to see whether it would be appropriate for c-section.

Yes, get a c/section: A severe shoulder dystocia is a life-threatening situation for your baby and can result in a lot of pelvic floor damage for you. If you have had a severe shoulder dystocia in the past and have another large baby, it might be a good idea to have a c/section rather take a chance. At term, the error in u/s weight prediction is around 15%. So it is not a perfect prediction of birth-weight.
