Bloodwork & Exam: Joint pain that is bilateral and symmetrical is generally a sign of a systemic problem. It could be something like rheumatoid arthritis or another auto- immune disease. Are you post menopausal. Have you had a bone density test ?

Rheumatologist: I'd recommend seeing your rheumatologist or if you don't have one, ask your primary for a referral as these small joint pains could be something more serious.
