A member asked:

Twinrix - i received first twinrix vaccine one year ago. how many more times should i receive a twinrix? and when?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

3 or 4 shot series: Twinrix (combo hepatitis a and b vaccine) is usaully given in a 3 or 4 shot series, given on a 0-, 1-, and 6-month schedule. Alternatively, a 4-dose schedule, given on days 0, 7 and 21 to 30 followed by a booster dose at month 12 may be used. You can resume the series without restarting the first dose.
