PVR and BOO: This is a serious problem that needs to be evaluated by a urologist. A retrograde urethrogram is not a test you order unless there is a history of trauma to the urethra or std(gonorrhea). In a 44 year old man a urethral stricture could be the cause for the obstruction and pvr.
