I'm having t tubes put in my ears next week.being done in one of the main or rooms under general.will i discharge from recovery room or same day care?

Hospital Policy: Most hospitals will not discharge you straight form the recovery room. They like you to go back to same day care for a small amount of time to ensure you are fully awake form any anesthetics after the more vigilant care of the recovery room. However, with a relatively short anesthesia time of tube placement, they may make exceptions. Would talk to the pre-op staff at the facility for their process.
