How to strengthen you hamstrings?

Resistive weights: Why do you think your hamstrings are weak? Be very careful not to cause a muscle imbalance with your quads!

Lunges: Lunges exercises and different variations of lunges are excellent way to quickly strengthen your hamstrings. Try the cross-over lunge, put your hands behind your head, back straight, and lunge forward on one leg, then jump to switch the other leg forward, do that consecutively for 30 secs. Good luck!

Hamstring Strength: It is important to have the strength and power in your hamstrings to accept the loads on them that you place everyday, esp if you are an athlete. Also important to have balance in your kinetic change to prevent injury. Best exercises involve "closed kinetic chain" strengthening as opposed to muscle isolation open chain exercises.
