Safe mouth spray: Cetylpyridinium chloride is a compound used in mouth washes, toothpastes, and lozenges to fight bacteria. It doesn't eradicate them all, as some are normal to be in your mouth. The spray can reduce gingivitis and reduce plaque. It is safe, even at 5 sprays a day. However, regular dental care is also needed to assure dental health. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11505791.
