Can endrometrios come back after having a full hysterectomy? i had severe endrometrios before surgery.

Yes: If your endometriosis was limited to the uterus, tubes and ovaries (which are removed with a "full" hysterectomy, then cure is possible; however, endometriosis can occur on the bowel, bladder and other intra-abdominal organs. If there is endometriosis still present after hysterectomy, you may suffer ongoing symptoms.

Yes: It is not likely that you will continue to have problems with endometriosis after your surgery, but nothing is 100% and there is a small chance that you could have pain or problems due to residual endometriosis.
