Need exam: It is not normal to continue seeing brown or bloody discharge after a hysterectomy. If the hysterectomy was done less than six weeks ago then it could be normal. However, if it was more than six weeks ago then there are certain things like polyps or new lesions of the vagina can cause that kind of spotting. You need to see your gynecologist for an examination.
