A very small chance: There is no for sure answer for your question. Technically the virus is back in the nerve cell at that stage but no one really knows. Herpes virus is spread by close contact such as kissing and sexual intercourse. You can have herpes and have only mild symptoms or no symptoms. Lest hope you didn't infect them.
