Percutaneous: I'm partial to a newer procedure called a percutaneous tenotomy. Tiny incision and uses ultrasound to guide a pen-like micro tip to the area of tendon damage. This device then removes the damaged portion of the tendon. I've had great success with this procedure. There is a physician in st. Louis who has done several hundred of these.
