Veins: Hemorrhoids are normal veins in the anal canal. They can become inflamed or enlarged with constipation or prolonged and repeated straining to have a bowel movement. Treated at home by avoiding constipation, drink plenty of liquids, eat more fiber (fruits, vegetables, metamucil), avoid junk foods. See a surgeon if symptoms persist.

Hemorrhoids: If you are referring to bleeding when having a bowel movement then it is likely hemorrhoids. You are 27 so talk to your doctor. Colon cancer is one of the leading causes of death. It might be better for the doctor to test your stool for the signs of blood. But the safer the may be to get a good history and consider a colonoscopy. Do sitz baths too.
