Not a problem: Genu valgum or "knock knee" is not usually a problem. It is not a reason to declare someone unfit for military service (i am a navy doctor.). On the other hand, if there is knee pain from arthritis or kneecap problems that result from the genu valgum, that is a valid reason to disqualify. To "correct" genu valgum, we break bones and change the angles. We rarely do that. Braces do not work.
