See below: Successful pregnancies can occur in the setting lupus. Before you get pregnant you need to discuss preconception planning with your OB and rheum. Your lupus need to be clinically inactive for at least 6 months before conception. You will also need to know if you are positive for antiphospholipid antibodies before you get pregnant as well.
