See below: Without knowing more details, what with information that you presented so far, she is at higher risk for this to occur. If she is not seeing a rheumatologist and a high risk ob/gyn, she should do so.

Pregnancy dangerous: First of all if the lupus is severe and not well controlled she should not be attempting pregnancy in the first place as this can make the lupus much worse.
