Awaken before..: If his night terrors occur at a predictable time after he falls asleep, it can sometimes help to disturb his sleep about a half hour before their onset. If they usually occur 2 hours after he falls asleep, at 1 1/2 hours go in and rearrange him in bed, sit him up for a drink, gently rub back and change his sleep cycle. This can reduce night terrors by as much as 80% in some toddlers. Worth a try!

Sleep disorder: If your kid does not awaken immediately when you touch him it is a nt.Most events last < 5 min and the kid should be left alone and the kid will not remember.Night terrors are considered a sleep entry disorder, often seen in those with irregular or inconsistent sleep patterns & reflects an accumulated sleep deficit.Improving the sleep habits & increasing hours/day of sleep can help this naturally.
