Radon?: The most common causes of lung cancer in non-smokers is radon exposure. Radon is an odorless, tasteless, and invisible radioactive gas which results from the radioactive decay of radium. Radon can accumulate in basements. Test kits are widely available to check for radon levels. If elevated, there are various steps that can be taken to lower the radon concentration.
