Risk is increased.: Many studies have shown that second hand smoke contains more carcinogens then what the primary smoker inhales. Thus continued, significant exposure to second hand smoke will increase your probability of developing lung cancer. However, remember, just because the risk is increased does not mean you are destined to develop lung cancer. Do not smoke and decrease exposure to second hand smoke!
