Antial is..: ...A brand name for loratadine, which is an allergy medicine. Polypep is famotidine, which is an antacid. You doctor is not treating an infection at all, but is probably trying to make some of the symptoms better. When you take the temperatureof a child, if he can hold the thermometer in his mouth and keep it closed until it's done, do it orally. Otherwise do it rectally to be accurate.
