Not normal: A common effect of Ibuprofen is GI bleeding which can cause lowered blood count ("feeling drained") and dark or black stools from the passage of the blood into the GI tract. Generally a proton pump inhibitor is prescribed along with 800mg ibuprofen. Stop this and check with your prescribing doctor.
