Also developmental + family history important to review. There are a variety of neuropsychological tests that can be used depending upon age. Autism: Any of the standardized iq tests are reliable for the assessment of intelligence in children with autism. For more serious cases along the autism spectrum, the use of non-verbal iq may be most appropriate.
