Treated by Doctor: Eclampsia is seizures brought on by pregnancy induced hypertension. It is usually treated with IV Magnesium Sulfate and delivery of the infant. It can sometimes occur postpartum. Your doctor will follow you afterward to make sure you do not have persistent hypertension. Preeclampsia can be helped by bedrest.
