See a doctor: If one reads about easy bruisablity in the medical books, platelet abnormally is high on the list as a cause. The elderly with thin skin will commonly bruise easily especially if taking Aspirin or blood thinner. When easy brusing is accompanied by other symptoms such as nosebleed, prolonged bleeding after cutting while shaving, then see a doctor for evaluation.
