Of all the...: ...Bronchodilators, Epinephrine (active ingredient in primatene) is shortest-acting, and with the most side effects. I would recommend alternative medications for all types of asthma.

There are better: Inhalers available. Primatene is merely adequate, but does work if other drugs (albuterol, inhaled steroids) are not at hand.

Primatene mist is being REMOVED from the market and can be a dangerous drug. Do not use Primatene Mist!!! Dr. Walsh is exactly correct...there are MUCH BETTER inhalers plus a ton safer. Being removed because it is not safe as an OTC medication

Depends on what type: Albuterol mdi's may cause a bad taste for some but shouldn't cause oral problems. Steroid mdi's or powder units can cause oral problems like yeast infections (thrush), throat irritation and hoarseness in kids or adults but also, rare effects can include mild osteoporosis, cataract and glaucoma development, mood changes, weight gain and extremely rare - cushing syndrome.

Can be other causes: Dizziness with exercise doesn't just happen with inadequate hydration. If a person is well hydrated, and still gets dizzy, her doctor can evaluate. Sometimes there are circulation problems, such as not enough blood flow to the brain under certain conditions or activities. There can be heart problems, or not enough red blood cells (anemia), etc...
