Start by seeing your: Dr. Your doctor, a psychiatrist or a psychologist can determine if you have a clinical depression. If you do it is likely that talking therapy will be recommended. In some case antidepressant medications may also be indicated. You can discuss possible side effects, indications, mechanism of action, target sxs and other treatment options w the provider. That way you can make an informed decision.
