A member asked:

Can drugs that treat epilepsy(anticonvulsants) affect fertility in the long run?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: The majority of anti-epilepsy drugs do not affect fertility but some of those drugs are risky for the pregnancy and the baby. Epilepsy can also complicate pregnancy. Prior to conceiving while taking anti epileptic drugs it is better to consult with a high risk specialists.
