Peritonsilar abscess: Uvula deviation (displaced to the side) cannot swallow, shortness of breath, drooling, gooffy voice, death due to airway/throat obstruction. Needs immediate attention.

Go in: If you have any problems breathing or swallowing, go to er. May notice if lying flat on back. I've seen these require emergent awake tracheostomy to secure the airway. Don't mess around.
