A member asked:

What's a good way to check if my piercing is infected or irritated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Redness and warmth: Watch out for manipulating the area as this is the most common reasons for infection after piercing. If crusting (scabs) forms and there is surrounding redness, and if the area feels warm to the touch, you should see your doctor. Good luck to you.
