How normal is it for anorexics to binge?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

What's normal?: Neither anorexia nor bulimia are "normal". Anorexia is purposefully not eating enough in order to lose more weight despite already being too skinny. Bulimia is a cycle of bingeing & purging. Some patients alternate between these two.
