Disorder vs Symptom: Anorexia is a symptom of anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder of excessive weight loss and usually undue concern about body shape. In teens it can also be called anorexia mirabilis which can be quite dangerous. If you or someone you care about suffers from this sort of thing, please do get help.
