It's good and healthy to feel pain when stretching a sore muscle?

Within reason: The old adage of no pain no gain applies. If a muscle is tight it will be mildly painful stretching it with exercise. This is good as long as its done in moderation too vigorous a stretch could damage thwe muscle and not enough stretch will do nothing to lengthen a tight muscle.
