Nutrition & exercise: Healthy nutrition & regular exercise are key to getting/staying healthy as well as to optimizing your weight. Aiming to lose 1-2 lbs/wk is ideal. Any more is not recommended. Look for combination of nutrition & exercise to achieve 500 cal less than consumed each day which will lead to 3, 500 cal/wk or 1 lb. Double the difference to achieve 2 lb/wk. Optimize your thyroid dose via tsh. Work w/ur doc.
