Hydrocortisone cream: Apply Hydrocortisone cream which is available over the counter, this will control itching. Keep clean and protected. Healing will occur but it has to :run it's course".

Time will cure it: This can be painful but it will get better over time. You can pan use topical creams like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or a cortisone cream to make it feel, better. Don't scratch it. You can set yourself up for an infection if you scratch too much.
