Asthenozoospermia: Asthenozoospermia (or asthenospermia) means reduced sperm motility. Complete asthenozoospermia, or having no motile spermatozoa in ejaculate occurs in 1 of 5000 men. Causes include metabolic deficiencies, ultrastructural abnormalities of the sperm flagellum (see primary ciliary dyskinesia), and necrozoospermia.
