Hello i'm in tears right now after reading horror stories of ppl on acutane. nothing has worked for me i'm on it now 10mg/pday . should i be worried?

No: Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Remember that people that have a good result are not as likely to write about it as those who had a bad one. Accutane is a serious medicine but it does work very well for many people. Don't go just by the horror stories. But do get more information from your doctor. Good luck!

It happens but ....: It is also a good med & considered safe & effective when used as directed/monitored. Your doc will likely monitor your response to the drug with some blood tests to see if there are any indications your system will not tolerate the drug.It could then be stopped before any problem arises. If your system is like most, it will not be a problem & you may get the benefit you want.
