Diet changes: Constipation and bloating are common complaints in pregnancy. Things that may help: minimizing gluten, dairy, beans and carbonated drinks in your diet. Lots of water and a high fiber diet help with the constipation. If needed, medications such as a stool softener (i.e. Colace) and mylicon/gas x (for the bloating) may also help.

When Pregnant: I would recommend you pull out your prenatal guide book that was recommended by your ob/gyn. This book will go over all the normal things that occur during a pregnancy. Stomach and abdominal pain is very common but some is not good and you will need to know how to distinguish between these. Many women have to eat smaller meals than they are used to due to this pain.
