My daughter has this irritating cough for the past several days any idea of the best cough relief. we've tried robitussin (guaifenesin)...still has a cough.

Robitussin (guaifenesin) is....: ..Pretty close to worthless (as are mucinex, (guaifenesin) delsum, triaminic, etc.).For a simple cough not related to pneumonia or asthma, buckwheat honey is quite effective. Don't use the stuff in the bear jar; it helps much less. Use a teaspoon of *buckwheat* honey every now and then as needed. If the cough persists, worsens, fever develops, or any other worsening of the problem, see your pediatrician.
