i had a repeat c-section 6 weeks ago now i'm having bad cramping and dark brown discharge is this normal?

Possible: Is this the first time since the c-section that you've had discharge and cramping? Possibly, you are starting your first period if until now everything else has been ok. If in doubt, call your obgyn. You should have your 6 week post partum check anyway.
