You decide: "normal weight" is whatever looks and feels right to the guy while he is able to do the athletic stuff that he likes and be competitive in it. "body mass index" wasn't intended for individuals in any case, applying it leads to nonsense (track stars are "underweight", elite strength athletes "obese") and the last 3 big studies showed "overweight" folks healthier in all major ways.
