Wide range: There is a wide range of "normal" weights for adolescents, because they are growing so fast. Their activity level, physical maturity level, and genetics (i.e. Parental body habitus) play in to this. Most importantly, the gender matters. Their pediatrician should review this child's growth chart and then give you an appropriate weight range for him/her.
