1 wk ago i woke up with a stiff neck on the right side. a few days, ago my throat started to hurt. no fever. actually the rest of me feels fine.

Have it checked: Progressive changes like this usually require formal evaluation for an examination of the area to determine if other tests or imaging are necessary. It is possible that these are unrelated and resolve but a pain or neck stiffness lasting a week with new additional symptoms warrants a thorough exam. Please see a provider about this - could be pcp or ENT to start.
