Yes. It can. : Yes if it is highly inflammed, enlarged or thrombosed. The fissure and pain further costrict the sphincter and make the passage of stool difficult. For constipation -walking exercise, high fiber diet, good water intake and MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) are proven good. For hemorrhoid see your doctor. Thanks and good luck.
