A doctor has provided 1 answer

See a surgeon...: Many times swelling under the jaw is an inflamed lymph node or salivary gland. However, if a course of antibiotics has failed, it may be a good idea to see if a surgeon would recommend a biopsy to see what is causing the swelling. It may be something as simple as a cyst that needs drained or a blocked salivary duct. Following this up is important make sure it isn't something more serious.
