A member asked:

Is it possible to recieve another chemotherapy drug if a person has a reaction to a certain chemo drug?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes you can: Drug allergies to chemo drugs are rare. If you have allergy to one of them, it is unlikely that you will have the same problem with other chemo drugs. So your oncologist will be happy to switch you to other drugs most of the time.
