Not really "need" to: No, the body does not really "need" to experience a certain amount of fear. But some feel that unless you're pushing the limits of your comfort zone by learning and trying new things, you're not growing. If you have goals or dreams but aren't moving towards them, it would be sad for you. When you take certain risks it can be scary -- but the rewards in terms of developing yourself can be great!
