What to do.: If the person is actively suicidal they need to go the nearest emergency room. Whether you, their relative or another friend drives them or emergency medical transport is needed. Never agree to keep someones thoughts of suicide a secret. That person needs help. Call 911 if you need to. Let the person know that you care & that there is hope.
