A member asked:

What's your opinion the psychiatrist will say about me seeing ghosts?

Seeing Ghosts: It will depend on if you were ill, intoxicated, effected by some toxin/med/exposure, or if you were just falling asleep or just waking up when the experience occurred. If not, it will depend on the doc. Docs are individuals & scientists. Their belief systems differ amongst themselves as much as any other group of people who are not linked purely by religious/spiritual/ethnic/or social culture.

VH: Most psychiatrists are trained to report something like this as a visual hallucination, scientifically, but based on paranormal phenomena it may be different.

It depends on : your state at the time. And the doctor's cultural and spiritual background. I treat people who believe in ghosts and can distinguish between actual clairvoyance and visual hallucinations.
