Can getting a sebaceous cyst removed hurt?

Nope!: Local anesthesia (a small needle stick is all that is needed) makes this completely painless, and the post-removal discomfort is very mild--tylenol is all that is usually needed. If the cyst is infected, antibiotics may also be prescribed.

Minor procedure: Really, the only part that smarts a little is the injection of the Lidocaine to numb the area. Once that's done, the cyst can be removed painlessly. Recovery is not painful either.
